| A Dinnington artist who
has a passion for all things natural is hoping to have his paintings
displayed at Anston Parish Hall. Yuri Gabrilovich, who has lived in and around the town all his life, although of Russian ancestry, has only been painting for around two years but has already sold a number of commissions and can now boast a display at Dinnington Library. |

"I really enjoyed doing the
paintings." And using the success of the library display as a springboard, the Dinnington artist is hoping to see a selection of his work at Anston Parish Hall. "It would be great to see them there and I will be contacting the parish council about doing that." Mr Gabrilovich specialises in watercolours although takes all commissions. |
| Mr Gabrilovich spent a month painting a
series of watercolours about the birdlife of the Anston Stones area
and they are now on show at the Laughton Road site. "It is great to have the paintings on show and people seem to be liking the look of them," said Mr Gabrilovich. "All of the wildlife occurrs at the Stones, and is either resident or migrates to and from the spot". |
